GEOFF BUNN (b. 1963)
Geoff Bunn was born in Birmingham, England in 1963. He worked as an engineer before studying philosophy. In the early 1990's Bunn began to focus on art and by the mid-1990's he had formulated the idea for the 'Unfound' work - a conceptual work populated with a strange and often confusing collection of pieces. This work was complete by the late 1990's but is complimented to this day with the ongoing production of small pieces or "clues". In recent years, influenced whilst working in France with Fred Yates, Bunn has also turned back towards more traditional means of representation, producing large disturbing canvases of empty human spaces.
