Geoff Bunn was born in Birmingham, England in 1963. He worked as an engineer before studying philosophy. In the early 1990's Bunn began to focus on art and by the mid-1990's he had formulated the idea for the 'Unfound' work - a conceptual work populated with a strange and often confusing collection of pieces. Although the main production of this work was complete by the late 1990's it is complimented to this day with the ongoing production of small pieces or "clues". Influenced whilst working in France by Fred Yates (the two worked together briefly) in recent years Bunn has also turned back towards more traditional means of representation.
